Our client was a small pharma that required several compounds radio-labeled for metabolism studies. Although most of the compounds were available as catalog items, three of the badly needed compounds were not, and needed to be custom synthesized.
Unfortunately, the lead time offered by the client's current supplier or the other large radiochemical suppliers that they were familiar with was close to 6 months, an unacceptable timeline. Cychem was able to provide a CRO that supplied the compounds within the targeted time. Furthermore, our CRO also provided a report which documented the structures, chemical purity, and radiochemical purity of each compound. The customer's timeline was met, and the program was kept on track.
